About J. E. D. Sergent

J. E. D. Sergent writes expansive speculative fiction about dynamic characters on epic adventures shaped by myth and philosophical themes. Raised in southern Illinois, he earned his PhD in English at Northern Illinois University and now lives in Seattle, where he teaches, writes, and edits his worlds long after midnight.

He is the author of six works of fiction, including the novels Dawnloader, Daybreaker, and Duskdriver from the Dying Earth trilogy The Wanderer's Domain. He is also the author of Sky Gods, a science fiction novella, and River Gods, a collection of weird fantasy short stories. His latest book is the romantasy adventure novel Gold in the Wind.
